Growing up in the small town of Springfield, Nebraska, my family naturally placed me in a smaller high school, Platteview High School. This decision proved to be incredibly beneficial, as it allowed me to feel comfortable expressing my interests to my teachers. With their support, I was able to explore my passion for production—especially post-production. I spent countless hours creating short films with friends on iMovie, which eventually led me to ask my teachers if I could incorporate video content into my class projects. This hands-on experience set me on the path that I am now pursuing.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in May 2024 with a degree in Journalism and Media Communication, specializing in Creative Media, and a minor in Theater. While my primary passion lies in video production, I have also developed a deep love for acting. Growing up watching films, I naturally developed an eye for strong performances, and over time, my appreciation for the craft evolved into a personal aspiration. Whether in front of the camera or behind it, I hope to build a career in acting, production, or post-production.

Currently, I work as a Project Coordinator at 7x7 Productions, where I help organize scripts and manage our upcoming film projects. In this role, I’ve gained extensive experience with Final Draft, collaborating with the company’s writer and producer on script development. Additionally, I’ve gained insight into the business side of film production, learning the intricacies of bringing a project from concept to completion. Beyond scriptwriting and production, I have also expanded my skill set by learning to create 3D objects and environments using Blender, further broadening my creative capabilities.

With a strong foundation in both storytelling and production, I am eager to continue growing in the industry, whether through filmmaking, editing, or performance.
