It was absolutely surreal to have the incredible opportunity to meet Vince Neil from Motley Crue during my visit to Nashville in 2023. As a longtime fan, it felt like a dream come true. Capturing that moment with a photo was pure luck, especially since I happened to have my camera with me. How did I get there? Well…I was invited to a private art show by some newfound friends in the music industry whom I had met just a couple of nights earlier. It truly stands out as one of the most unforgettable and thrilling experiences I've ever had.

During my time in Nashville in 2023, I had the pleasure of meeting Colby Swift, an American Idol contestant, who approached me for a unique opportunity. He asked if I could take photos of him and his team as they explored Nashville while recording music. Little did I know that this chance encounter would lead to meeting none other than Vince Neil from Motley Crue! Meeting Vince and his team was such a highlight, and I was delighted by how kind and gracious they all were. It's moments like these that make traveling and connecting with others so rewarding.

Sean Kingston, known for his hit song "Fire Burning," visited The University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I graduated from. He performed for the students, making it a memorable experience for everyone. As the photo editor for UNO's student-independent newspaper, The Gateway, I had the privilege of taking pictures at the event right alongside the stage. It was an amazing opportunity that added to my wonderful memories from my time at UNO.
